About Beeb BETA
Beeb is the new voice assistant from the BBC
Beeb is the new voice assistant from the BBC.
“OK Beeb, play Radio 1.” It’s as easy as that.
You can ask Beeb for your favourite radio stations, podcasts, music mixes, news and weather updates as well as fun jokes and quirky facts.
• Stay up to date with the latest BBC News headlines and weather snapshots any time of the day.
• Listen to live BBC Radio, podcasts, music mixes and all your favourite radio shows.
• Get fun jokes written by BBC comedy writers and quirky facts from QI’s Sandi Toksvig.
Beeb is also interested in what other things you ask for so it can evolve the experience and make it better for everyone. So don’t be shy, experiment and ask Beeb other questions! It may not have the answers to everything yet but it will certainly try its best to respond.
How do I get it?
At this stage, Beeb is only available to UK-based members of Microsoft’s Windows Insider Programme (a programme where Microsoft users can get early access to the latest features, news, and updates before they are released.)
We will be making Beeb available to the public soon so keep your eyes peeled.
