Laundry time

Routine tasks like putting some laundry on are a great time to chat to your child and have some fun.

You could talk about who different clothes items belong to and describe what you're doing with them.

By letting your child help out with everyday tasks you can teach them all sorts of language by describing what you're doing, for example 'you're going to put them in the wash'.
