Remembrance Sunday - World War One resouces

Remembrance events will take place across the country to mark the anniversary of the Armistice in 1918 that signaled the end of World War One.

Here's a selection of teaching resources about Remembrance and the history of World War One.

Remembrance Live Lesson

BBC Live Lessons marked the centenary of the Armistice - the end of the First World War - with a creative writing lesson for primary students in collaboration with 14-18 NOW.

An opportunity for your school to be a part of a collective moment of reflection ahead of a weekend of national commemorative events.

Content for the Live Lesson has been designed to tie in with a free 14-18 NOW Armistice resource pack, linked to Danny Boyle's Pages of the Sea commemoration event, asking communities to gather on beaches to say thank you and goodbye to the millions who left their shores during World War One.

The pack has been sent to all primary schools and made available to download.
