Summer Reading Challenge
The Summer Reading Challenge 2020, presented by The Reading Agency, is delivered in partnership with public libraries and funded by Arts Council England.
The Challenge encourages children aged 4 to 11 to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure over the summer holidays, providing lots of fun and enjoyment as well as helping to prevent the summer reading ‘dip’.
To find out how to get your class involved in the Summer Reading Challenge head over to the School Zone of the website, and to get parents involved in helping their children to read this summer, point them to the Home Zone and for supporting videos with well-known people talking about books and reading take a look at the Reading Agency's YouTube channel.
Below you'll find resources from both the Summer Reading Challenge and BBC Teach to use with your students.
