Female with short dark hair: You write a paragraph when you change what you're talking about, so as soon as you start changing subjects, you would write a different paragraph.
Female Hotel Employee: Yeah, as you can see on both of these examples, the letter is split up into small paragraphs.
This is just so that it's easier for our guests to understand, it's just simple and to the point.
Charlotte: As a florist, we have to write quite a lot of letters to clients, and so, for example, this one I've divided the letter into three paragraphs.
So the first section we have discussing the wedding, and then in the second paragraph go on to talk about the prices of that.
And then the final paragraph is summarising and information.
And that's it.
And then I sign off.
You can recognise the paragraphs because there's gaps between the blocks of words.
And using the paragraphs makes them easier to understand.
