4. The Carew murder case

There is outrage at the murder of Sir Danvers Carew. Utterson is shown the murder weapon - a cane - and recognises it as one he once gave to Jekyll. Thus he identifies the murderer as Hyde - but Hyde is nowhere to be found. Please note the text includes a description of the murder of Sir Danvers Carew.
