Remembrance Day - Teaching Resources

Remembrance Day takes place on 11 November each year, whilst Remembrance Sunday takes place on the second Sunday of November each year.

Below you will find a collection of teaching resources about Remembrance and the history of World War One and War Word Two for use with both primary and secondary school classes.

Remembrance Live Lesson

BBC Teach marked the centenary of the Armistice - the end of the First World War - with a creative writing lesson for primary students in collaboration with 14-18 NOW.

This was an opportunity for schools to be a part of a collective moment of reflection ahead of a weekend of national commemorative events.
