Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) Teaching Resources
Relationships and sex education (RSE) is learning about the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up, relationships, sex, human sexuality and sexual health.
Some aspects of RSE are taught in science, and others are taught as part of personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE).
The Department for Education has recently run a consultation to shape changes to the teaching of relationships and sex education, and PSHE.
These BBC classroom resources have been created to support you in teaching RSE, in preparation for the changes to come. From September 2020 the changes will be statutory for schools in England.
Due to the sensitive nature of the subject matter, we strongly advise teacher viewing before watching with your pupils.
