PSHE KS2 / KS3: A career as an entrepreneur
Fraser Doherty founded his SuperJam brand at just 15, and now, in his early 20’s, he’s producing a million jars of popular sugar free jam every year.
He's come a long way since making the jam in his mum and dad's kitchen and explains how hard work and feedback are key to his success.
Fraser tells us how he comes up with ideas for his jam and we see him conduct taste trials with children ahead of the launch of a junior SugarJam range
The clip could be used to start a project on setting up your own business. Students can watch the clip and discuss or write the steps to making a business.
As a follow up activity, they could then work in groups to come up with an idea for a product, making a brand and designing a poster to present their idea.
