Physics KS3 / GCSE: What happens if there’s no gravity?

Professor Brian Cox experiences what a world without gravity would be like!

He 'falls' from 15,000 metres on-board a Zero-G flight - a special aircraft, nicknamed the ‘vomit comet’, to experience weightlessness.

This clip is from the series Wonders of the Universe.

Teacher Notes

Student could design an advert for the 'Vomit Comet' using labelled force diagrams to illustrate how it works, and what the passengers would experience.

They could also describe what they think a world without gravity might be like, making justifications for their ideas.

This clip will be relevant for teaching Physics.
