Drama KS3 / KS4: Musical theatre production of I Know Me (pt 2/6)

The second part of a 6-part original musical written and produced for secondary SEN schools, in which the principle characters, Sidney and Jake, are transported to the fantastical land of music, song and dance.

We also meet the Spirit; the musical’s other principle character and his little helpers - the sprites.

This clip is from the series Making a Musical.

Teacher Notes

These clips could be used as inspiration and a template for teachers and students to stage their own version of the production.

Supplementary ‘how-to’ clips provide suggestions and ideas to support the development of a musical production.

The Sprite characters offer schools the opportunity to cast across, and include all year-groups - including primary, if they have younger pupils.

The Sprites could also sing in 'Welcome' and 'Wait' if wished for a school production.
