History GCSE: The World's War

Historian, David Olusoga explores the contribution of colonial troops to World War One.

Each film focuses on those who made it a truly global conflict - the 4 million non-white, non-European troops and ancillaries who fought and died alongside European troops, to ensure the survival of those European empires.

Suitable for: Teaching History at KS4 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and at 4th Level in Scotland.
