KS2 English - Treasure Island: Episode 2

2: The Squire and the treasure map

Jim and his mother escape from the pirates, taking the map with them.

They go to the home of Squire Trelawney and he sends the local militia to The Admiral Benbow to deal with the pirates...but the pirates escape.

The group at Squire Trelawney's home, which also includes Dr Livesey, can then examine the map. It appears to be the key to the lost treasure hoard of Captain Flint, an infamous pirate.

Squire Trelawney declares that they will charter a ship to sail to the Caribbean to find the treasure - with Jim going along as cabin boy.
