EYFS / KS1 Music: Teaching about conducting

This game will introduce conducting to the class.

Each child can have a turn at being the conductor. If you don’t have instruments to hand you can use body percussion such as claps, stamps and thigh pats.

Curriculum notes

These clips are suitable for teaching music at EYFS and Key Stage 1 in England, Foundation in Wales, Early Years and Foundation KS1 in Northern Ireland and Early and First Level in Scotland.
