BBC Philharmonic perform Hands In The Air

Sharlene Hector performs Hands In The Air with the BBC Philharmonic.

This clip shows how the orchestra and Sharlene combine to transform the song into a jazz performance.

There are musical families in the orchestra and they've dressed in colour coded shirts to help distinguish which families they belong to.

The musicians are also seated near each other. Have a look closely and you'll find that the blues are string, reds are woodwind, greens are brass and the pinks are percussion.
