Dai Greene and Rhys Williams receive Welsh Athletics funding

Dai Greene
Dai Greene finished fourth in the final of the 400m hurdles at the 2012 Olympic Games in London

Former world 400m hurdles champion Dai Greene will receive funding from Welsh Athletics after losing his National Lottery funding.

Greene was omitted from British Athletics' world-class performance programmes for 2017.

He was world champion in 2011 but has been plagued by injuries.

Greene and fellow 400m hurdler Rhys Williams are among 34 athletes who will be supported on the Commonwealth Games Podium and Potential programme.
