Wales women earned two draws in their three matches against Italy in Rome, but the hosts' won the series thanks to a 1-0 opening game triumph.

Abi Welsford and Leach Wilkinson scored the goals that secured a 2-2 draw on Sunday.

A day earlier former captain Tina Evans celebrated her return following a three-year absence in style.

Evans, who won the first of her 75 caps in 2005, struck late on to ensure a 1-1 draw.
