North Wales Crusaders director Bob Wilson has been appointed Wales team manager ahead of the Rugby League World Cup later this year.
Wilson takes over from Mark Rowley, who resigned down from the role as general manager in February.
The retired police superintendent will work alongside Wales coach Iestyn Harris and his backroom staff.
"I'm delighted to be involved with Wales Rugby League at such an exciting time," Wilson said.
"As a proud Welshman, there is nothing I'd like more than to help the team succeed this autumn and I can't wait to get started."
Wales begin their campaign against Italy at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on 26 October.
