Davis Cup: Great Britain face USA on return to World Group
Great Britain will play the United States away on their return to the Davis Cup World Group in February.
Britain, whose last World Group match was in February 2008, returned to the tennis elite after an Andy Murray-inspired win over Croatia.
Defending champions the Czech Republic and a formidable Spanish team, led by world number two Rafael Nadal, are in the opposite side of the draw.
The last time Britain played at this level they lost 4-1 to Argentina.
US Davis Cup captain Jim Courier said: "Great Britain will be a challenging and exciting opponent for us.
"It's going to be memorable to have the two original Davis Cup nations face off again for the first time since the competition's Centennial Celebration in 1999."
The Czech Republic, who will attempt to retain their crown when they play Serbia in this year's final in November, host the Netherlands.
Spain, winners in 2008, 2009 and 2011 and runners-up last year, travel to Germany.
Serbia, led by world number one Novak Djokovic, host Roger Federer's Switzerland.
Wimbledon champion Murray beat Croatia's Ivan Dodig 6-4 6-2 6-4 on Sunday to give Britain an unassailable 3-1 lead in the best-of-five play-off, before Dan Evans completed a 4-1 win by overcoming Mate Pavic in a dead rubber.
