Late Ferrer almost misses Dodig match

Fourth seed David Ferrer of Spain almost misses his last 16 game on Court Two against Ivan Dodig after turning up ten minutes late.

The French Open finalist eventually arrived just at the cut-off time for a player having to forfeit a grand slam game due to lateness, having been delayed with problems taping his blistered feet.

Ferrer lost the first set to Dodig on a tie-break but went on to beat his Croatian opponent 6-7 7-6 6-1 6-1.
