Heather Watson made a winning start in her quest to reach the French Open, earning a straight sets victory in the first round of qualifying in Paris.
The British number three - seeded sixth for pre-tournament qualifying - beat Romania's Ioana Raluca Olaru 6-3 6-0 in 77 minutes on Court 11.
Watson must win two more matches to make the full draw alongside Britain's Elena Baltacha and Anne Keothavong.
The 18-year-old will face Australia's Sally Peers in the second round.
