Former semi-finalist Juan Martin del Potro has confirmed that he will play at the French Open after recovering from a hip injury.
The 2009 US Open champion, who missed most of 2010 with a wrist injury, tore a hip muscle in Madrid two weeks ago.
But the Argentine has revealed on Twitter that after "great effort" he is ready to play at Roland Garros.
"See you in Paris!" the 22-year-old added ahead of the tournament which starts in Paris on Sunday.
Del Potro is ranked 27th as he makes his way back following the wrist injury, and he won the Estoril Open on 1 May before suffering the hip problem at the Madrid Masters.
The former world number four, who lost to Roger Federer in five sets in the 2009 French Open semi-finals, will be seen as a threat once again, albeit with doubts over his ability to play seven five-set matches in two weeks.
