British number three Heather Watson missed out on a place in the Estoril Open after losing 6-0 6-3 to Austria's Tamira Paszek in the final qualifying round.
The 18-year-old was broken three times in the first set and failed to register a score until the seventh game.
Her percentage of first-serve points improved from 42% to 50% in the second set and she was 2-2 at one stage.
But world number 87 Paszek broke twice more to reach the main draw.
Watson revealed her disappointment on social networking site Twitter.
"Wasnt happy with my performance today. Just too many errors. Have to get over it and move on," she said.
