GB Taekwondo begin Rio recruitment

GB Taekwondo experienced the most successful Olympics in their history at London 2012 with Jade Jones winning -57kg gold and Lutalo Muhammad securing -80kg bronze.

In Rio 2016 they aim to be even stronger and have teamed up with UK Sport and the English Institute of Sport for the 'Fighting Chance: Battle4Brazil' programme, which aims to boost Great Britain's world-class academy with the recruitment of athletes from non-Olympic martial arts.

BBC Sport's Nick Hope speaks to some of GB Taekwondo's leading athletes at the programme's launch in Manchester.

Athletes interested in signing up for 'Fighting Chance: Battle4Brazil' can do so via the UK Sport website.
