Bristol's Judd Trump beat China's Ding Junhui to win the Players Tour Championship event at the South West Snooker Academy in Quedgeley.
The 21-year-old, who is ranked 10th in the world, captured the £10,000 first prize with a 4-0 victory in the final.
Trump told BBC Gloucestershire: "Towards the end my form started to get a lot better.
"It was a bit of a struggle at first but to beat players like that is always a good achievement."
Trump overcame Neil Robertson 4-3 to make the quarter-finals and went on to beat Yu Delu 4-1 then Fergal O'Brien 4-0 to make the final, where he made breaks of 81, 68 and 121.
