Holley defeats defending champion to win snooker final

A comeback from 3-1 down saw Adrian Holley beat defending champion Martyn Desperques 4-3 in the Guernsey Island Snooker Final.

Despite his consistent form, a 34 break from Desperques put him within one frame of a sixth title at 3-1.

However, a 36 from Holley cut the deficit to 3-2, before a break of 37 set up the decider.

Both players had early chances but it was Holley with a 25 and a 35 who took frame and title.

Holley goes on to play Jersey champion Arran Canavan to decide the Channel Islands champion.
