Ainslie wants rule changes after tragedy
- From the section Sailing
Sir Ben Ainslie calls for changes to be made to the America's Cup rules following the tragic death of British sailor Andrew Simpson.
Simpson, 36, died in May after Artemis, the Swedish entry, capsized during training in San Francisco Bay.
Ainslie thinks boats "need to be made simpler" so that they are safer for sailors, but he is "confident" the right decisions are being made to ensure the event is as safe as possible.
