Well done Scotland, job well done, good luck against Japan(from a Welshman)
I posted this comment about an hour ago and it was removed because it was offensive. Can anyone please explain why?Just want to say thanks. Your negative comments about Scotland being unlikely to win against Russia and that you could get 10-1 on a 30 point gap sent me off to the bookies - £500 on the hip!
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
Why don't we get a proper HYS? Really weird decision-making...Anyway, that was a comprehensive victory. "Ah but it was only Russia". Well, did Samoa, Ireland or Japan win as comprehensively?
@220Fair enough you were accurate in your forecast a great win for us
Russia have let in 30/34/35 points in their other matches.Scotland scored 61, and could easily have topped 70.Unlucky, trolls.
Chuffed to bits to see that today. Boys enjoyed themselves. I hope now all the chatter doesnt lurch the other way I.e of course we will hump Japan. I think we will qualify but it’s better when all the great and good commentators of rugby, including some prize plums on here, give us no chance and Japan are hot favourites. That means they have to carry the pressure, not us. Well done Scotland.
Looks like Russia went quietly.......
Happy with that, said last week was expecting 70 points, but 61 will do just fine. Now to the real one on Sunday.
@OriginalTEQUILASURFERTold you, never in doubt. I fully expected that today . Well done and good luck on Sunday. Hope you make it through but i wont be sticking my head on the block like that again in predicting the result of the Japan V Scotland game.Horrible feeling Scotland will win but not enough to qualify.
@177To recollect the Daily Troll aka Midnight pearls of widom"Prepare for the normal 'they have a bigger population than us' wailing from the jocks when Russia become the latest side to make them look ordinary"Any comments on your sweeping statement Midnight... Or are you clip-clopping in temper & sulking under your bridge?
Very long few days for the players and coaches, how do you pick a first 15 out of those last two matches ?Well done to the idiots for ruining the other thread ! You know who YOU are.
ABE! The arrogance from the English will never be beaten! Good luck to Ireland, Wales and Scotland!
Well said Madhouse, if it can't be Scotland lets hope hope for England, Ireland or Wales. From another Scot.
@210Yes keep a low profile - I would if I were you. I guess you’re important in all of this though lol. Be be be WHAT??? Are you a Doo-wop singer?
Absolutely fantastic Scotland - (from an English Brit) let’s hope you can raise it yet another notch for the Japan game...come on you Scots!!!
Did what they needed to, with a little but of flair and a certain amount of comfort. Yes it was Russia, but what else can you do. Nine tries, second consecutive clean sheet and no injuries. Just need to keep a clear head on Sunday, focus and get the job done, won't be easy but at least it is in their own hands. Come on Scotland!
Good Morning/Evening ContributorsWhat a fantastic day in Japan, bullet train, absolutely jam-packed with rugby fans of all nations.Well we did a job didn't we 11 "tries" of which 1 was correctly disallowed, Horne's should have stood but most impressive apart from the 2nd "nil" against was our attitude & temperament@210 You are not the sharpest tool in the box are you? Your posts preceded you
The result the team and the country needed. Totally professional performance that could have been nearer 80 points but for the officiousness of the TMO. If those 2 tries had been scored by the AB's they would have stood.Congratulations to Gregor and the squad.
