Scotland beat Wales in Edinburgh to earn their first win of the 2019 Under-20s Six Nations.
Captain Connor Boyle powered over for the hosts' opener with Robbie McCallum adding a second.
Fly-half Cai Evans gave Wales brief hope with two penalties before Rory McMichael touched down and and Jack Blain got the bonus-point try.
Will Griffiths hit back from a forward drive, converted by Sam Costelow, who added a late try.
Scotland's impressive defence had largely matched their attacking prowess before Wales rallied late on.
It was Wales' second tournament defeat, having lost to Scotland in the opening round before beating Italy and England.
Ireland earlier won the tournament as they saw off France 31-29 in Cork.
Wales have the chance to restore some pride when they host their Irish Counterparts at Colwyn Bay on Friday, 15 March (19:05 GMT).
