Watched the match fully today & wow! Wales were fantastic in defence, attack & set-piece.Biggar was the pivot between that attack & defence, took all the sting out of the Tongans, deservedly MOTM, to be honest Patchell took adantage of Dans hard yards as by the time he came on when the opposition was mentally spent.IMHO DB has to start all the big games with GA or RP to mop up after 55 mins.
@216 yes! I'd be tempted to start with Patchell & see how he goes.Tomos to start

Posts 207 and 213: Fair comment based on the website clip. But in fact the move started much further back, in the Welsh half, and the clip picked it up after the ball had passed through several pairs of Welsh hands. I think this is what they call "clickbait"; Show a substantially truncated/edited clip, quote what was said based on the full version then wait for the comments to clock up!!
Why is there no highlights video showing all the tries. They put one together for all the other teams. So annoying
Hmmm Try of the Autumn.I suppose it depends where your starting datum is.All I know is that good as it was there have been far better and more often in other international games.
On discussion with the bbc panel did anyone else hear Martyn Williams say ‘ Wales have a dearth of good back row players ‘ when in fact he meant the opposite . He meant surplus or glut. Hilarious!
I'm Welsh. I'm excited by next week. For Wales, it all comes down to how promise translates into finally making a serious statement by taking down down a strong SA and making it 4/4.England v Oz. A genuine 50/50 between two teams who have a lot to prove. It's not fashionable, but I'll actually be neutral for that one.
Brimmers you are an id iot the same can be said for all the British sides
As a very proud Welsh bloke, I have to ask why does the England game even need to mentioned on this thread? We can talk about today's game, our chances against SA next week and how exciting the future looks for our team without having a go at the English can't we?
@ 198. Posted by Mister Joe BanglesIsn't he the new fella that Eddie Jones is eying up to bolster the squad. Apparently he qualifies because he passed an English language exam at school and has watched an episode or two of Emmerdale. But well done for speaking up. Now, here's a thing, let's see if you can take it as well as dishing it out. You're not going to prove me right, are you?
I have to say that Butlers "try of the Autumn" was easily outdone by Scotland and bettered by England's first.I do think the gap is rapidly narrowing between NH and SH, NZ are human and World Cup next year will be extremely competitive.

I know there are a couple of injury concerns with the tem, but this would be my starting XV against the Boks:15. Holmes14. Amos13. JD12. Parkes11. North10. Anscombe9.8. Faletau7. Lydiate6. Moriaty5. Ball4. Jones (captain)3. Francis2.1.AWJ as captain. I know this means that Hooker, LH and SH needs to be filled with Welshmen, but the others can rally round.
@201....yes, Tonga missing 12....... with Wales missing 14 !!!!! England are not a laughing stock and will improve come World Cup, but so will Wales with squad depth much better in case of injuries. With also players like Dan Evans, Hewitt, Tom Young, Charteris not in the 40 to call up as well......
Fair comment spesh! Hopefully we can carry on our good record of late against s.a. one of the good things about yesterday's results and performances is they have shut trytastic up with his 'words of wisdom' a ref who doesn't know the rules of the game and the citing process!!!!
@194, Bwahahahaha. England a 'laughing stock?' Is this because we only beat Japan by 20 points - you know, the team that the last 3 times Wales played them resulted in 'stunning' victories of 4 and 3 points and a defeat by 15? Or perhaps it's 'surging', after being 24-24, ahead of a Tonga team missing 12 starters.
