Monye looks like a man-child in that interview, another of the manor born public school media brigade.This game used to be class war - it still is to be some extent. They probably tease Farrell in training, probably call him Owen Mugblood.Of the less than half of the starters that didn't go to uber posh schools, 2 of those are Kiwis and one of those (Mako) was brought up in Wales.
When did Italy win at Twickenham?
539 CorrectAnd one of the few things you can be 100% sure about is that this will not be a game of chess...
Scotland gave away a lot of ball, oh and about 14points. England will be much tighter. Man for man nothing to pick between the sides, however England are at home and have better replacements so I will go England by less than 5 points. 22-18.
England are an excellent consistently good team. Wales are, however, potentially brilliant. They are also potentially terrible. They are as likely to win in spectacular style as get pulverised. Do have slightly more confidence than normal they'll rise to the challenge as they'll need to. Hoping for a great Saturday afternoon in any case.
Where will Eng v Wal be won and lost ?Twickenham and Twickenham
@537 Phew. That's a relief!;-)
Just to reassure: farting won't be a factor because it will be blowing a gale anyway and both sides possess props.
Should be a cracker. Lots of pace on both sides. As ever the battle of the breakdown will be a key factor.
@364 & 363My comment was a simple on being welsh and english you failed to understand it.For the welsh this weekend is the biggest game of the year. That small time mentality holds you back. Its not difficult to understand, the Scots are the same.The game for England is just like any other. If the welsh did manage to play as well against SH teams as the do against Eng. Well!
530: My great aunt not farting at half-time, I bet that play's into England's hands too.Assuming she's at the game, it depends in which direction she was planning to let rip, and which end we're attacking second half. If she lets go just as they're about to re-start, that could augment the prevailing wind. Equally, you'd not want to be down-wind if it was pungent enough.
Wales played a different game on Saturday and surprised Scotland who did not adapt the question u must ask is will England watch the video of that match and learn. I bet they do. One win and the Welsh think they are world beaters I don't think so.
@526 Yeah I'm sure England will be quaking with fright at all the Welsh daffodils!
Well England are rubbish aren't they. Achieved their number 2 ranking by complete fluke. Reading the press, they're obviously also-rans and have no hope against the tried and tested Wales line up that beat mighty Scotland. May as well not turn up. Fair enough. We'll see what happens on Saturday.
