No Owen Williams, while Anscombe walks into the squad....part of this selection process is plain wrong. Picking Patchell @ 10 shows selectors can see the light, its just a partial eclipse. Scotland winning shouldnt be a shock.
Should be a great game - lets hope the roof is on and its dry! There will be a lot of points whoever wins!
@446 & @457 The 60 cap rule is in place today. Adams is covered by an exception clause for uncapped players currently contracted outside of Wales. Going forward to keep their eligibility a newly capped player will be required to return to Wales at the expiration of the contract in place at the point of call up.
@449 AngloWelshI'll give you a clue Hardie was outstanding as our BF, Strauss at 8 however both play equally well at OFSo to clarify just for you if all our Scottish players were fit and Gregor pursued his "expansive" style we would probably go 6 Barclay 7 Hardie 8 StraussAlso Taylor would play 13, Dunbar 12 & our front row would include some of Marfo, Fagerson, WP Nel & Dickinson
I'm quite excited about this game now, this looks like a strong Wales team despite all our injuries and if we lose we've got a ready made excuse because we're missing so many first choice players.
FLEX doesn't have a clue, just an idiot. Probably French!
tipuric or davies should be at 7
Just looked at the replacements for the game on both benches. If it's tight then they could well decide who wins. I'd rather have Scotlands bench though.
@460 He's quick, handles well and is good over the ball, and is in the squad so the perception in training must be that he doesn't bring as much to the side as Tipuric or Navidi. I'm pretty confident he'll be called up sometime during this tournament.
Have we had the BBC's highly exciting roof update yet?
