Worcester Warriors: Perry Humphreys agrees new deal at Sixways
Worcester Warriors full-back Perry Humphreys has signed a new contract with the Premiership club.
The 22-year-old graduate of the Warriors' academy has scored three tries in six games so far in his maiden season in the top flight.
After making his debut on the opening day against Saracens at Twickenham, Humphreys scored a try on his first start against Gloucester at Sixways.
The length of Humphreys' new deal has not been disclosed.
Humphreys, who signed a first-team contract in February 2016. was part of the Warriors side that won the British and Irish Cup in 2015, as well as being in the development squad which reached the 'A' League final.
"Perry is yet another example of a young player who has grasped his opportunity in the early stages of this season," said Warriors head coach Carl Hogg.told the club website.
"He provides great competition across the back three and has grown immensely during his first two seasons at the club. He has plenty of potential."
Humphreys' deal follows Warriors' signing of another full-back Auguy Slowik from Bristol and Australian scrum-half Michael Dowsett, while they have also brought in South African lock Wilhelm van der Sluys on trial.
