Pro12: Ulster trio to miss Edinburgh match
Guinness Pro12: Edinburgh v Ulster
Venue: Murrayfield Date: Friday, 4 November Kick-off: 19:35 GMT
Coverage: Live on BBC2 NI and the BBC Sport website
Ulster will be without Darren Cave, Roger Wilson and Paddy Jackson for Friday's Pro12 clash against Edinburgh.
Cave (calf) and Wilson (knee) were injured in last week's defeat by Munster while Jackson is rested under the Irish player management programme.
Ulster director of rugby Les Kiss expects a physical battle against the Scots at Murrayfield.
"They are a belligerent type of team - we must match that and play the type of game we would like to," he said.
Ulster led 14-0 against their Irish rivals at Kingspan but lost 15-14 to drop from top spot to fifth in the standings.
Edinburgh, who suffered a surprise home defeat to Italian side Zebre last Friday, are eighth with just two league wins this season.
"That was a shock result and I'm sure Edinburgh will respond," added Kiss on Tuesday.
"We are just not putting the killer blow in - it's not that we are not talented or work hard enough, it's just that our execution is letting us down at critical times.
"We need to be more clinical but their is no need to panic as we are just three off the top.
"On Friday night we must match Edinburgh in the forward pack and get to the point where we can hopefully put in a killer blow, stretch the scoreline and go into the break with a win."
