Francois Louw: Bath and South Africa back row out for up to 10 weeks
Bath and South Africa back row Francois Louw has been sidelined for up to 10 weeks with a hamstring injury.
The 31-year-old suffered the injury while playing for the Springboks in the Rugby Championship.
He has yet to play for Bath in the current Premiership season because of his international commitments.
"He's picked up a hamstring injury tackling for the ball," first-team coach Darren Edwards told BBC Points West.
"It certainly has an impact on our numbers. With Taulupe Faletau out as well in a similar situation, that's a world-class back row that's not in our team at the moment."
Louw had to leave the pitch early in South Africa's defeat by New Zealand on Saturday.
