Plymouth Albion have agreed a new contract with South African forward Dave Fisher for the forthcoming season.
The 23-year-old joined Albion last year, but missed the whole of the campaign after injuring his knee in a pre-season friendly last August.
The ex-Sharks youth player had cruciate ligament surgery in December and is yet to make his competitive debut.
Albion have also signed 21-year-old former Redruth, Fylde and England Counties second-row Todd Prisk.
"I will be ready for contact when Albion start their pre-season training," Fisher said.
"I have to prove my fitness and work hard to be in a position to fight for a place in the starting line up.
"The Albion squad is already taking shape and there is no reason why the club can't get back into the Championship."
