Launceston 'hid' during heavy loss says boss Mike Lewis
Launceston head coach Mike Lewis say some of his players "hid" during their 47-3 loss at home to Old Albanians.
The Cornish All Blacks conceded seven tries as they got their National Two South campaign off to an awful start.
"We say we're building a team around this character but if people start hiding, things are going to happen," Lewis told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"That's where the points came from - someone hid - someone didn't want to work for a few seconds."
But the club's former forwards coach says there are positives he can take from the loss:
"It looks like a big score on paper, and for stages it was, but only for around 20 minutes of the game.
"For the rest of the game we were in it. First half we were in it, last 20 minutes we were in it, but for 20 minutes in the second half we fell of the edge of a cliff, we just didn't know what to do."
