Wasps centre Ben Jacobs has signed a new contract with the Premiership club.

The 32-year-old Australian, who is in his second spell with the Coventry-based side, has signed an undisclosed-length extension to his existing deal.

"I love it over here," he said. "The club's heading in the right direction. The Coventry move is a fantastic thing.

"All the people up there have really embraced it. It's also great to see so many of our long-standing Wasps fans watching us at the Ricoh Arena."

Sydney-born Jacobs played for NSW Waratahs and Central Coast Rays before first arriving in England with Saracens in 2008.

He then spent three seasons with Wasps during their spell playing in High Wycombe, before heading to Japan to play for Kyuden Voltex.

Jacobs went back to Australia to play for Perth side Western Force before returning to Wasps in the summer of 2013.
