Launceston hooker Darren Semmens will be out until the new year after being told he needs knee surgery.
The 27-year-old former Cornish Pirates and Redruth man has not played since Launceston's at the start of October.
"I don't think Darren will be back with us probably until the new year," Launceston boss Neil Bayliss told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"He needs a little operation on it and it's booked for early December."
Bayliss added: "He's a strong guy, he'll get through that quick, and hopefully he'll be back and ready to go in the new year."

"I don't think Launceston have ever played them in any rugby competition, so it's new to all of us," Bayliss said.
"On the back of Saturday we've got to go there with a bit of confidence.
"I think they'll be used to winning, they've come up through the London leagues and they get a good squad together and keep winning week in, week out, so it builds confidence.
"We've been away to Cambridge and lost by a point, we've beaten Clifton at home, but they're the foundations we've built now, we need to keep going on the back of these games and keep building and building and getting better and better."
