England beat Italy 52-11 but missed out on the Six Nations title as Ireland edged France.

Stuart Lancaster's side needed to win by more than 50 clear points to have a strong chance of denying Ireland.

Two Mike Brown tries and one from Owen Farrell helped England into a 24-6 lead at half-time.

Jack Nowell, Mako Vunipola, Manu Tuilagi and Chris Robshaw added further tries but Ireland won the title with a 22-20 win over France.
