Redruth coach Ashley Morcom says his players need to start playing for the full 80 minutes.
The Reds fell to a 38-17 defeat at the hands of high-flying Ampthill at the weekend and Morcom blamed a drop off in performance in the final 20 minutes.
"It's the same story as against Canterbury [when Redruth lost 46-22], we played for 60 minutes," Morcom told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"We were the better side in those 60 minutes but we faded away late on."
The Reds are still struggling to find much consistency this season, but Morcom said the loss to Ampthill gave them cause for optimism.
"The boys hit the nail on the head in the huddle afterwards saying we can build on that," said Morcom.
"We played some really good rugby and its important we keep that momentum going.
"It doesn't help giving sides a head start like we always do.
"We gave them three tries in the first half to give them 15 points, so it's important we stub that out sooner rather than later."
