What do you make of Josh Lewseys appointment within the WRU and how do you think he will improve the set up within the WRU?
I would like to see what the coaches at Welford Road could do with him. The Tigers are a club who know how to put together a ferocious but clever & dominant set of forwards and I reckon Cockerill and Co could turn him inot the 'weapon' England have missed since MJ & Grewcock retired.
Or the English & French are going to kill European Rugby by allowing teams who can find the most money to dominate, like the Premier League .I agree it needs changing, but there's two sides to every story. At the present, the evidence seems to be that all the best players are going to France. Unless the finacial playing field is levelled, I fear a French dominance of the new cup.
Looking forward to the positive thinking 15-man rugby approach highlighting the negative 'pack' dominated style of the English and French teams in the HC.
Are you being politically correct but not mentioning Bath? The forwards were sorted last year and the quality and quantity of talent in the backs this year looks exciting. Add to that an intent to attack, they have to be up there surely!
Do you think Paddy Jackson wears the wrong size boots? He looks like he can technically kick quite well, but cant seem to hit the target.
It depends on your point of view. If its about European rugby, there needs to be a mechanism to have all the countries represented (as currently). If its about best teams in Europe then some countries won't get a look in.
If the problem is qualifying, the English have the power in their own hands to remove relegation from the Premiership, and reduce their number of teams by forming regions
Shame the Rabo teams have decided to stubbornly stick to their guns, kill the golden goose and remain insistent on their cozy 'qualification' set up.
After your prediction that Sale would go down, do you need to adjust your prediction after last Friday?
"If Gatland was ever going to consider a back row player who dons the white"
Let it go fella - the series was won...
No problem with Wood being played at 8 in short term. however it did cost him his Lions place (If Gatland was ever going to consider a back row player who dons the white).
For me he is England's best player and should be Captain, a far better player than Robshaw and no disrespect to him.
If you were a supporter of a Welsh region, would you be satisfied with watching your side struggle in the Pro-12 or HC, taking solace that the National side is being strengthened by the early exposure of young talent and the best players playing in the English/French leagues.
