London Wasps have signed Argentina lock Esteban Lozada from French club Agen.

The 31-year-old has 22 international caps and represented his country at the 2007 World Cup.

The Belgium-born forward has played for Toulon and Edinburgh and has joined up with the Wasps squad at a training camp in France.

"It was important for us to add another lock to the mix ahead of the season," Wasps director of rugby Dai Young told the club website.

"I think we have a very strong group of players there who are all going to push each other hard for selection.

"Esteban is bringing solid international experience with him and we're looking forward to seeing what he can bring us."
