Guernsey head coach Jordan Reynolds says he is set to bring in six new players for the upcoming season.
Reynolds has secured deals with four players, with another two to be finalised in the coming weeks.
"We don't have guys that can cover a lot of different positions and my aim is to bring in guys that can do that," Reynolds told BBC Guernsey.
"Two of the guys coming in can cover anywhere from fly-half to full-back, to the centres and wing."
The club and Reynolds, who has agreed a deal to be the club's first part-time paid coach, says it is important to increase the breadth of skills in his side.
"It's perfect for us because we have some utility players, while we're also looking at a centre and maybe a six and a second row that we need to replace.
"To progress we need guys that can cover more positions so hopefully we can develop that during the season.
"We did a lot of research on the guys that we wanted to bring in and made sure they were the ones that would fit into those that we're trying to bring to the club.
"We've got a good balance and when we confirm these other two we'll make an announcement and let everyone know where we're at."
