Lacklustre Lions lose to Brumbies

The British and Irish Lions lost their 100% record as a revamped side were narrowly beaten 14-12 by ACT Brumbies.

Tevita Kuridrani scored an early try to put the Super 15 leaders in front and Jesse Mogg kicked three penalties.

Stuart Hogg kicked two penalties but twice hit the post as a Lions side with five debutants struggled.

A raft of 57th-minute replacements saw the tourists improve and Owen Farrell's two penalties brought them close but they fell short of a stirring win.
