Lions start with comfortable victory

The British and Irish Lions began their tour down under by scoring eight tries in a comfortable 59-8 win against the Barbarians in Hong Kong.

Welsh pair Mike Phillips and Alex Cuthbert each scored two tries as they staked their claim for starting places in the first Test against Australia.

Paul O'Connell, Jonathan Davies, Dan Lydiate and Alun Wyn Jones also scored, with Owen Farrell kicking 15 points and Jonathan Sexton adding two conversions.
