Full-back Peter Muchie has become the fifth Glasgow Warriors player to be secured on a contract extension during December.
The 26-year-old has committed himself to at least another three years with the Pro12 club at Scotstoun.
"My game has come along way since I came north to Glasgow," said the player who arrived from London Welsh in 2009.
"I want to keep developing my game and this is the perfect place for me to do that."
Murchie joins Al Kellock, Mike Cusack, Tom Ryder and Tommy Seymour in signing contract extensions with Gregor Townsend's outfit in the last month.
"There is a huge amount of competition in the back-line at Scotstoun, but that can only improve us as a group," said the Carlisle-born player who qualifies for Scotland through his Ayrshire-born father.
Murchie has yet to win his first cap but has played for Scotland A and experienced his first involvement with the full squad this year when he was called up for the November's tests.
