Ulster prop Paddy McAllister suffers major injury setback
Ulster prop Paddy McAllister is set to miss most of the forthcoming season after suffering torn lateral and cruciate knee ligaments in training.
The 23-year-old loosehead sustained the injury on Tuesday, underwent a scan on Saturday to assess the extent of the damage and will now require surgery.
"Gutted to miss the season," said McAllister on his Twitter account
Tom Court and Callum Black remain as Ulster's existing options for the loosehead prop position.
