Jersey scrum-half Nicky Griffiths will learn on Tuesday whether he will miss the climax of the greatest season in the island's history.
The former Newport Gwent Dragons player was sent off for an alleged spear tackle in the 64-0 win at Tynedale.
The incident will go before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing via video link on Tuesday, to decide on the length of any ban.
Griffiths will be available for Saturday's match against Macclesfield.
National One leaders Jersey have three games left and need nine more points to secure promotion to the Championship.
