Timoci Nagusa's last-gasp converted try ensured Bath's disappointing Heineken Cup campaign continued as they lost away to Montpellier in Pool Three.
Pierre Berard put the hosts in front with a spectacular converted try but the first of Ryan Caldwell's brace helped Bath into a 10-7 half-time lead.
Caldwell went over for his second try but a penalty and converted try from Alex Tulou saw the hosts draw level.
Matt Banahan's try looked to have won it but Nagusa crossed under the posts.
The result leaves Bath bottom of Pool Three on seven points, with Montpellier moving into second spot, level on 10 points with Glasgow but having played a game extra.
Leinster lead the way on 16 points ahead of their meeting with Glasgow on Sunday.
